Our community features a public ski slope just a 5 minute drive from the house! Don't ski or snowboard, you can enjoy tubing or the food and scenery at the Lodge! It is recommended to purchase passes and schedule tubing in advance. Once registered with the community you will receive a discount code to your email. There is also cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails located in the community about a 5 minute drive from the ski slopes.

Masthope Mountain Community has its very own stables where the staff takes care of heard of approximately 20 – 25 horses ready to go with pony rides, trail rides, arena rides, and private lessons. During the summer months, daily rides are available and a modified schedule is available during the fall and spring months. Throughout the winter months, arena and pony rides are available during regular stable hours. Riding lessons are also available year round. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required for all types of riding and riders should arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. The Masthope Community stables also include a petting zoo for the kiddies! All trail rides need to be booked in advance, reservations are a first come first serve basis.

Wander along its 52 miles of shoreline or rent a kayak or boat and skim across the 5,700-acres of water. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you can try water skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, or even jet skiing! Several businesses will rent all the equipment you need for a memorable day out on the water, including the Silver Birches Resort in Hawley! 3. SOARIN’ EAGLE RAIL TOURS Hawley is home to the only recreational railbiking adventure in the Poconos. Pedal on tracks aboard custom built two or four-person rail bikes. The six-mile route along the Lackawaxen River takes approximately two hours. Along the way expect to see plenty of wildlife, scenic views and historical landmarks. Soarin’ Eagle Rail Tours offers Several trips are available throughout the day with rides offered every weekend and most weekdays through Labor Day. 4.
