If you eat meat, best alternative to burrito. In business 35 years, mom and pop's diner style. Get the garlic sauce, you won't be disappointed! I like the shawarma wrap.

Best pizza and beer pitchers. Communal dining style. Condiment bar with cheese, peppers and oils is great. Friday night they host stand up comedy in side room, is fun! Walkable 20 minutes/parking lot

people love this breakfast spot. For upscale kale salads with poached eggs, really high-end coffee, and fresh-squeezed juice. I prefer Amara's Kitchen but that's in Highland Park.

I love getting the Avocado Veggie sandwich and strawberry lemonade here. It's an incredible cafe that has outdoor seating in Griffith Park. Quiche, scones, corndogs

Best Thai food I've ever had. Totally authentic street food, colorful interior. Laid back seating. But be prepared to wait. Worth it. Must be open-minded and like fish sauce.
