A very special farm shop close to our house - selling home reared Dexter beef, Portland lamb, Piddle Valley chicken, goat meat and a selection of local cheeses, wonderful organic vegetables, honey and apple juice. It is also the place where our white goatskins (on the kitchen benches) were bought.

I have known this place for 20 years, a restaurant in an historic house, presided over by Barbara Bourke (head chef) - local ingredients, exceptional cooking and wine list - in a lovely old house. Sunday lunches are highly recommended.
