If you go to Helsingør, you can't miss the great Elsinore castle known even from Shakespeare's Hamlet. It's situated by the harbor, gazing over to Sweden. Worth the visit, even only from the outside.

There are several coffee shops, clothing stores, thrift stores and interior shops in this little town, and a nice area with old houses by the harbour. Gilleleje is 6 km from the summer house.
