Parks & Nature

the Meelup Reserve begins 500m from the house. Lovely trails, where you can walk or jog, leading to little secret coves and bays, plus hills with elevated views. Beautiful wildflowers bloom in Spring, including several different orchids. Sometimes you may happen upon a Quenda - our very own local bandicoot, or a family of Splendid Fairy Wrens. In Winter and Spring you will have a good chance of spotting Humpback Whales out at sea. Ospreys swoop for fish in the shallows along this coast and build their nests in the nearby woodlands.
