If you want the traditional New York City bodega experience, this is it! My old favorite breakfast item here is a Turkey-bacon Egg and Swiss with Tapatio hot-sauce on an Everything Bagel. These guys do it right. Standard bodega drip coffee. Basically everything else you need too, and only a couple steps to the train. Perfect spot for the morning rush.

One of my favorite, if not all-time favorite, Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurants. Flavorful plates, super cheap, and so so so delicious. Friendliest bunch of folks ever too. Get the samosas and pakoras here, along with pretty much everything else.

Good skating, or roller skating, depending on the time of year. Also, walking towards this place and exiting the park further north at Lincoln Road will take you to the B, Q and Shuttle trains, which makes for a great way to begin or end the day.

3mile loop around this park is the best run you'll get in Brooklyn. Lots of really cool places in here to check out. Do a little exploring. Paddle boats, bird watching, nature trails, look-outs, bike rentals, petting zoos, botanical gardens and so much more. Keep an eye out for the Smorgasborg!

3mile loop around this park is the best run you'll get in Brooklyn. Lots of really cool places in here to check out. Do a little exploring. Paddle boats, bird watching, nature trails, look-outs, bike rentals, petting zoos, botanical gardens and so much more. Keep an eye out for the Smorgasborg!
