Parks & Nature

This is my favorite place in the world. The fountain has a beautiful view of the water in Central Park, live musicians performing under the arches, open grassy areas to sit and read, and tons of people performing art pieces around the fountain. Definitely a must-see.

Getting Around

You can purchase a subway pass in any of the entrances to the 168th street station in Washington Heights, and this is the closest station to our venue. The A Train runs all the way down Manhattan via express line and even to Brooklyn. The local C and 1 trains can be accessed from this station as well, and is one of the busiest stops in NYC on the northern part of the island.

Arts & Culture

One of the most beautiful locations in NYC. Museum Mile allows access to the MET, the MoMa, the Guggenheim, the Museum of Sex, and the Museum of Ice Cream, but the MET is home to Pollock, Picasso, Monet, Manet, Van Gough, and plenty of other famous names and paintings you've always wanted to see. MOST of the aforementioned museums have FREE hours of admittance, including the Museum of Moving Image in Queens. Admittance here is done via donation, but they do have suggested prices for what to pay/donate. Student's receive discounts with their student ID's.

Food Scene

The food here is delicious, affordable, and quick with delivery when ordered through Seamless. I find myself eating this sushi almost weekly, which has become alright for my pocketbook due to the quality, portions, and prices. Definitely a must eat if you're feeling like staying in one night.
