Getting Around

Bay Transit runs the Colonial Beach Trolley in season from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11am - 7pm and later on holiday weekends. There are over a dozen stops around town and the cost is only 50 cents per person.

Sightseeing

See where the 5th United States President and author of the Monroe Doctrine was born. A recreation of the house on the property is under construction and there is a visitor center with artifacts. Open in season beginning in April when they hold an annual birthday celebration.
