It is within walking distance of the cottage/studio, great location and worth arriving early to watch the sunset. Perfect treat for a special occasion.

A little hidden gem actually on the dock at Soldiers Point Marina. The Boat Shed serves good coffee and light casual lunch/breakfast. Fantastic casual mixed Antipasto platters. If you love seafood, try the seafood platter.

For a 5 star experience - or even worth dropping in for a look is "The Anchorage" at Corlette www.anchorageportstephens.com.au. The have two fantastic restaurants, a seafood restaurant (which I haven't yet been to) and also The Galley Kitchen, both pricey but the location is spectacular and absolutely fabulous for a special occasion. But if its outside your budget drop in during the day for a coffee and enjoy the view.

If you are feeling active, Hike up Tomaree Mountain. the views are spectacular. Make sure you wear good walking shoes. It's steep, but plenty of stops to rest, take your time and enjoy
