Parks & Nature

No trip to Southern UT is complete without a visit to Zion National Park. If you don't have a lot of time or can't hike long distances try Canyon Overlook, Weeping Rock, or Emerald Pools trails. For longer hikes try Angel's Landing, The Subway (permit required), The Narrows (permit required), or Cable Mountain. We recommend spending 2 days minimum exploring Zion National Park and the community of Springdale (gift shops).

Sand Dunes, gorgeous hikes and views, a variety of beautifully colored sandstone, lava tubes (bring flashlights), desert plants and animals....Snow Canyon also has fewer people and less cost than Zion National Park. If you have enough time, go see both! They are very different and each well worth the time. We recommend spending at least 1 full day at Snow Canyon State Park.
