Hardangervidda is a Norwegian high mountain plateau located in the counties of Viken, Vestfold and Telemark and Vestland. At Haukelifjell it is bounded towards Setesdalsheiene in the south, and along the Bergen line it is bounded towards Golsfjella, Valdres and Hallingskarvet in the north. Hardangervidda comprises an area of ​​approx. 8,000 km² and is Northern Europe's largest high mountain plateau. To the west and north, the landscape is hilly, while from the watershed to the east it has a distinct wilderness character. [1] In 1981, Hardangervidda National Park was established on the central parts of the plateau. The road to the fall is used during the Voss Extreme week by the skateboard roller’s. It is only 30 minutes from Ulvik towards Voss by the old road.

Always check weather forecast before going any where!

In Norway the weather can change quite fast, if going hiking always take clothes for cold weather, rainy and sunny. The sun is quite strong sun block is recommended. For Payment is recommended to use credit cards. To get around is better to have a car, but public transport is well organised.
