Da Pippo on Melita Street is legendary, and so popular with locals that booking is a must. Only open for lunch, they do all the Mediterranean classics, but go with what they recommend on the day. Noisy and chaotic, this is a real Valletta experience.

Sicilia Bar is located on St John’s Street over looking the Grand Harbour they have a wonderful view and open for lunch only. Check your chair for cats and then sit down to try their fish and pasta dishes. They get busy in summer, so it might be worth booking!
