Our Favorite Restaurants
We moved to Columbus, OH from NYC in 2017. While we were excited for the move we weren't sure what to expect from Columbus restaurants. NYC has some of the best food in the world. All that being said, we were NOT disappointed in the Columbus food scene! Below are just some of our favorite spots!

AAB India Restaurant

Their egg sandwich is ridiculously amazing. Like, so good. If you're into sweet treats, their pastries are giant and so so good. One thing to note, they do NOT offer wifi -but the food and coffee is so good, we never mind hopping on our hot spot while we're there.

German Village is probably the most unique neighborhood in Columbus. It’s old Bavarian style buildings and brick streets are really interesting to explore. Katzinger’s Delicatessen, Thurman Cafe, Schmidt’s, and Pistacia Vera are some iconic restaurants. Staufs is the place to go in German Village for coffee. Schiller Park is also a nice place to explore on the outskirts of German Village.

Whetstone’s Park of Roses is in the Clintonville neighborhood. The roses will not disappoint in season. Clintonville is also a wonderful neighborhood to explore along High St, but you probably want to start your walk around the intersection of North Broadway and High St which is a little south of the Park of Roses. Walking south from North Broadway you’ll find some great antique shops. And stop at Dough Mama for an awesome breakfast or lunch!

The Columbus Zoo is nationally renowned and features more than 7,000 animals from around the world in a variety of habitats. The zoo is an all day affair by the time you get there, park, and get through the gates. It is truly a world class experience, so it’s worth considering if you have a free day to spend in Columbus.
