Kingston Flyer is an old steam train currently being restored in the local workshop. Sometimes the workshop is open for visitors but it is not a rule, usually any train related events are organised on weekends. If you are a fan of steam train you can visit kingston Flyer Cafe and Bar that is the remain of the old train station.

Important info for car users
Drive from Queenstown to Kingston goes trough alpine single lane road, sometimes it can be very dangerous, so please drive safe. If there are vehicles behind your car, please let them pass. Make sure you pull over in a safe spot.
