World-famous hot springs along the old Oregon Trial--very reasonably priced per person to visit. Unparalleled hot springs experice--these are probably the best hot springs in the West. An easy and memorable day trip--just an hour from Griffin's Lair. Bring your swimsuits and soak up the serenity. The best small town in America with the greatest K-12 school in the world. The population is only 299 but there is more to Rockland than meets the eye. Also the headquarters of Direct Communications, a rural telecommunications company that brings fiber optic connectivity to small towns throughout the western states.

Steadmans is a fun place to spend an afternoon with the family! It's super close to Griffin's Lair-just over the mountain range to the west, which is 2 highway exits west of us. There are two big water slides, covered picnic areas, trampoline, volleyball net, and a zip line. They take donations, so there’s no set price to use the place. Local families and church youth groups come here to spend quality time during reunions. Call 208 349-5722 for reservations.

Over 22 miles of hiking trails varying from easy to steep and strenuous. Rock climbing and impressive granite formations. The City of Rocks National Reserve is easily one of southern Idaho’s most accessible adventures. Journey here and check out towering granite pinnacles, fins, and domes stretched out over 14,407 acres of pure Idaho wilderness. Climbers trek here from around the world to scale rock climbing routes. You’ll also find amazing trails here for hiking, mountain biking and bird watching opportunities. There’s a good variety of trails for hikers of all skill levels, and many of the trails intersect around the central area of the granite formations known as the Inner City. Some of the most popular routes are Bath Rock, Creekside Towers, South Fork Circle Creek, and Window Arch trails.
