Food Scene
Established in 1998, Maynard’s Restaurant began operating on a very historic piece of property in Excelsior, Minnesota on Lake Minnetonka. The same land was occupied by the Excelsior Amusement Park from 1925 – 1973, and then saw restaurants come and go over the next couple decades. Maynard’s is locally owned and operated, and prides itself in giving back to the communities it serves. Known for the best views of Lake Minnetonka and the best waterfront dining in the state, Maynard’s is a place everyone can enjoy. Our American Casual menu is sure to suit even the most specific appetite, and our bar area is a great place to gather for the big game and enjoy our award winning happy hour. Maynard’s is a place the locals can call home while still serving as a main tourist attraction of the Twin Cities Metro. We pride ourselves in a quality product at a fair price, but believe our consistent service and attention to detail (even amongst the big summertime crowds) sets us apart from the rest.

The Original Pancake House was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1953 by Les Highet and Erma Hueneke. Drawing upon their many years of experience in the culinary field, and their extensive working knowledge of authentic national and ethnic pancake recipes they were able to offer without compromise this unique and original menu which has gained national acclaim. The Original Pancake House is a second and third generation family business, which takes great pride in maintaining the high standards that make our food so outstanding. We now have over one hundred franchises from coast to coast, which have won local and national acclaim. Our recipes demand only the very finest of ingredients, such as 93 score butter, pure 36% whipping cream, fresh grade AA eggs, hard wheat unbleached flour, and our own recipe sourdough starter. Our batters and sauces are made fresh in each restaurant’s kitchen. Our signature items include the Apple Pancake, a single large pancake smothered with sautéed apples and cinnamon sugar baked to perfection. To create a deliciously rich cinnamon sugar glaze.

Drinks & Nightlife
Back in 1976, a few buddies opened a pizza restaurant in Boulder, Colorado. From the start they agreed on a few basic principles: serve up delicious, handmade pizza, have the best lineup of cold beers in town and treat everyone who walks through the door like family. More than three decades later, we sport a fresh new look, a new menu and lots of new faces, but Old Chicago is still committed to being the best place to share a world-class pie and great craft beer. Whether you show up for a light lunch, a first date or a little league championship celebration, you can always count on gathering around and sharing big smiles, good times, great beer and made-from-scratch food. It's all about hard work, an honest approach and a commitment to quality in everything we do. Good enough isn't good enough for us, and it sure isn't good enough for you.
