Breakfast & Coffee!
Baba's is a 5 minute walk from The Music Box and is a fantastic place to grab coffee and a delicious sandwich. They smoke all their meats in-house and have the best hangover breakfast sandwiches on the block. The owners are so sweet. We can't recommend this place enough. Stauf's coffee is SO GOOD. If you are a coffee connoisseur then you should definitely check this place out. Grandview location - this was the original location and has the best coffee selection. Distance - 4.4 mi (1277 Grandview Ave) German Village Location - Get a cup of coffee here and then walk over to The Book Loft and get lost in the coolest bookstore in Columbus. There's no better way to spend a Saturday morning. Distance - 4.8 mi (627 S Third St.) Victorian Village - This is a new location for Stauf's and is in a beautiful historical building. Take your coffee down to beautiful Goodale Park and have a stroll. Distance - 2.9 mi (1334 Neil Ave)

Live Music!
The Rambling House is our home-away-from-home. We seriously love this place and it is such a short walk to get there. They have awesome live music almost every night of the week (closed on Mondays), with most bands playing Roots & Traditional Americana music. They make their own soda and their cocktails are phenomenal. We highly recommend the Relentless Mule (bourbon + house-made ginger beer) and the Irishmen (whiskey + house-made sarsaparilla) We host many touring musicians that play at the Rambling House and you might even catch us playing a show there while you are in town. :) Distance - 0.2 mi http://www.ramblinghousemusic.com

Our classic neighborhood "dive bar" where the drinks are poured heavy and the live jazz is amazing. You'll be treated well here and there is music 6 nights a week. Distance: 0.7 mi (You can walk right down Hudson on a nice night but I would recommend doing that only in a group if it is late. If it's late at night and you are alone, I would probably just uber.)

Ace of Cups hosts an eclectic assortment of different musical acts on most nights of the week and has a lot of up-and-coming cool touring bands come through. They pour heavy and usually have a great crowd. Once a month on a Saturday they host a dance party called HEATWAVE! which is an all-vinyl dance party spinning Motown/Garage Rock/R&B/Soul/Funk/Oldies. It's super fun. Distance - 0.5 mi https://aceofcupsbar.com

Natalie and Charlie are a father-daughter team that really knows how to restaurant music joint. Not only do they have delicious food but they have one of the best live music calendars in town. This is my go-to place for dinner and a show all in one place. Their cocktails and beer and wine menu are on point as well. Seriously, check them out. Distance: 4.7 mi They also just opened another restaurant and music venue in the Grandview area which is also amazing! Grandview location distance: 3.2 mi Live music calendar for both locations: https://nataliescoalfiredpizza.com/events/

Restaurants for Date Night
Basi (in the Victorian Village neighborhood) is probably our favorite hidden gem of a restaurant in Columbus. It's a small place so we would recommend getting a reservation. The food is just so good and the patio is a beautiful place to have dinner in the spring and summer. Distance - 3.5 mi https://www.basi-italia.com

Third & Hollywood is a charming restaurant in the Grandview neighborhood with the best cheese biscuits we've ever had. They come in a hot skillet and they are mind-blowing. The ginger ale is homemade and is wonderful. They have a nice wine selection and the food is stellar. It's an awesome place for a nice dinner. You can usually get a table if you are willing to wait but I would recommend reservations if possible. Distance: 4.2 mi https://www.thirdandhollywood.com

Casual Dining for Lunch and Dinner
Cantina (the Clintonville location) is our go-to spot for a quick bite. The chips are self-serve so if you are hangry you can start noshing immediately. Their margaritas are on-point as well, with the boozy and delicious Mustache Ride being our favorite. If you're in town on a Tuesday, the tacos are $2. During happy hour the Mustache Ride margaritas are $5. Distance - 1.2 mi http://www.localcantina.com

Lavash has the best Mediterranean in our neighborhood. The lentil soup is amazing and their mint tea will cure what ailes ya. They don't serve alcohol so if you are looking to have a beer with your meal save this one for another time. Distance - 1.0 mi https://www.lavashcafe.com

Movies!
Our favorite movie theater in town! 2 screens. Nice and intimate. A great beer selection and they serve local pizza from right down the street. A great atmosphere overall and just a really neat place to see a movie. For Jeff's birthday they lit his name up on the marquee out front. It was so cool.
