We recommend early morning visits! The market will be less crowded and not as warm as it can get during the heat of the day. Definitely visit the food trucks in the garden, we highly recommend the tea truck! Feel free to bring our mason jar glasses (located in the kitchen cupboard) along with you for a refill price rather than cup purchase!

Similar to our recommendation for visiting the Silos, GET THERE EARLY! It gets hot in the Texas heat and if you can help it you don't want to spend your day waiting in a long line outside the bakery. If you get there near opening there will be little to no line and you can easily get those delicious cupcakes every raves about. Even if there is a line... the cupcakes are worth the wait! Maybe get some extra to take home with you, you'll wish you had more after finishing one!

This is the OG Magnolia Market. Joanna's first store! Now the Little Shop on Bosque sells clearance products from the main market at the silos. We have found some amazing deals here! It can be hit or miss, but is worth a visit.

Sightseeing
Cameron Park Zoo spans 52 acres and is a natural habitat zoo. There is a wide variety of animals and a visit here makes for a great day! From our Magnolia Bleu you could walk to the zoo if you are so inclined (0.3 miles).

I can't recommend Spice Village enough! Spacious, long-running shopping option featuring over 60 clothing & decor boutiques under 1 roof.. does it get much better than that?! Well, it does! Because my favorite Waco restaurant, Crickets, is on the ground level of the same building! I can spend a whole day here, I recommend setting a few hours aside so you can explore all there is to offer here without needing to rush.

I can spend a whole day here, I recommend setting a few hours aside so you can explore all there is to offer here without needing to rush.
Baylor is a short drive from the property. It is fun to wander the pretty campus or look up their schedule during your visit to see if any sports games are taking place! There is BU pride all throughout Waco!

I have never eaten a meal here that I didn't love. Not just like.. but LOVE. On top of that the atmosphere is fun and the drinks are great! Perfect for any meal or a late weekend night hang. I can't recommend this place enough. There is a wide selection of food offerings, something to please everyone! I recommend getting their scratch made Banana Pudding.. I'm not joking when I say I'm not a banana fan and this is one of the most delicious deserts I've had in my entire life! I'm not joking ya'll, I eat one there and then get one to go it's that dang good!

You may even drive back just to get that sweet delicious goodness every day of your trip, I know I'm guilty of that! The atmosphere is funky and chill, if you need a quite place to get some work done this is a nice spot! During spring and summer months they will host events in the back and those are fun to visit!
