Local ideas
We are surrounded by many places to visit and eat out. During the current climate obviously some places will now only do takeaway but here is a list of local places to eat out.
In Midhurst we have several pubs, there is the half moon opposite our lane, the wheatsheaf, the bricklayers and the swan. The Angel hotel has a small restaurant but I am not sure if it is open currently. Two local pubs that are open and have outside eating are The Royal Oak and The Greyhound, Both are 5 minutes away on the way out to Chichester.
Cafes in town are Café verde, Costa, Fitzcanes and the Cowdray Café in Ease
Getting around
trains to and from Haslemere and Liphook.
Local cabs will take about 20 minutes from either station to the Barn. Trains are frequent and very reliable. Buses also run locally to Chichester, Guildford, Petworth and Petersfield as well as many villages inbetween.
