Parks & Nature
The perfect place to spot local wildlife, especially waterfowl! Eastern Neck has a combination of trails, boardwalks, viewing platforms, and even a water trail for paddlers. Our personal favorite is the Duck Inn Trail, which has a small beach at the end of it. Leashed dogs are permitted, so this is a great place to take your pup. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, blue herons, swans, hawks, ospreys, and more! Just remember bug spray during the warmer months. https://www.fws.gov/refuge/Eastern_Neck/

This casual place on the waterfront is a favorite of both locals and visitors. Nothing fancy (burgers, crab cakes, blackened fish sandwiches are always a good bet), but a great place to sit outside, get a bite to eat or a drink, and watch the happenings at the marina - whether that's boats or blue herons. The crowd can get a bit lively on weekends, especially during the summer when there's live music.

Your standard liquor store, but worth a stop for their deli. Definitely not going to win any design awards, but the best place in town to pick up subs before a day out on the water or just a quick takeout lunch.
