Food Scene
This is a locally owned Italian Restaurant. My mouth salivates just thinking about their very distinct salad. You can order the salad as a half or a whole and a half is plenty big. This is one of my favorite local places.

This is a great lunch spot. Filipino food with great local service. There are not a ton of options, but what is there is delicious. I believe the average lunch entree price is around $6.50.

Parks & Nature
Scout Mountain is one of the taller mountains located about 10 minutes to the South of Pocatello. It has many campgrounds, but is also great for day hikes. Towards the very top of the campgrounds you can park and go exploring. This was one of my favorite spots as a youth. Mountain biking is very popular as well. Lots of wildlife. My favorite time was first thing in the morning.

Hiking trail may be a little bit of an exaggeration. It does have a paved trail with dirt trails that offshoot from it. Small creek running through the trails with bridges and picnic tables scattered around. There is an amphitheater that is rarely used. Great for a longboard or just walking around. I had to include this spot as it was the location of Jill and I's first kiss. (Twenty Years Ago) I know, TMI, but I wanted to make sure you know that this location can provide lasting memories. If you would like the full story, just message me and I would be happy to share.

In lots of pictures you may see some pillars on a hill. This is that spot. A very short hike to the top that provides some great photos. Great views to be had from this short hike. Located very close to the ISU campus. You actually park next to some dorms to get access to the trails.

If you are looking for your typical Mall experience than this is the Mall for you. There is nothing special that really sets it apart, but it does have the majority of your typical mall shops.

Arts & Culture
I haven't been here since I was on an elementary field trip, but here is how the website describes this location. A visit to the Fort Hall Replica is to enter the 19th Century world of explorers, trappers, fur traders, Native Americans, pioneers, Gold seekers, historic figures, and common folk; all of whom visited the place called Fort Hall on the banks of the Snake River in what is now Southeast Idaho. The roads to the Replica follow close to the Oregon and California Trails and other famous roads and byways. This is definitely a staple of Pocatello and has been around since before I was born. http://www.forthall.net/
