What to pack
Summer brings mosquitoes, we recommend Repellent 'Andra'.
Andra repellent is sold at the banana bread stands in Las Islitas, Mantanchen. A click north of Aticama.
Travelling with kids
We have been told its not child friendly.
Over 20 years, this is not a common complaint. Rural Mexico comes with less childproofing. We try do as the locals do.
Getting around
Crocks are practical for walking on the beach, or sandals.
Spanish is very helpful but not necessary.
