A walk up to the top of Monte della Guardia through the longest portico in the world. It starts from Porta Saragozza and it leads until the San Luca Sanctuary. At the top you will be greeted with unparalleled panoramic views of Bologna and the surrounding regions.
Furthermore, the delightful Sanctuary of the Madonna of San Luca is perched on top of the hill and is a fantastic church to visit in its own right.

The Asinelli leaning tower; it's the highest of the two towers (the other is Garisenda) that you will find at the end of Via Rizzoli. This tower used to be a prison in the past. From the top you will have a very nice view of Bologna, both city and the hills, and the most famous red roofs.
