Lake Tahoe's east Shore is where the iconic granite boulders accent Tahoe's famous blue water. A must for any visitor is to walk the wooden path through the Sand Harbor beach park, hang out in one of the coves or paddle through the boulders.

Best Fusion Food ever! Tip: Thursday nite is half off their fusion food if you sit at the bar. They serve 6 Star cuisine that you want to take of photo of before eating - and it tastes even better than it looks. Small place - so there could be a wait on weekends. High quality food

Drinks & Nightlife

Hidden on a side street, this local hangout also makes their own delicious soda and Kombucha. The outdoor garden is fabulous on summer nights. There only challenge is the sound bouncing off the walls - it can get loud. Be sure to take in a Paint and Pint nite - Tailor the artist (who lives across the street) does an incredible job

Parks & Nature

The hike to Hidden Beach from Tunnel Creek Station is a must! From Tunnel Creek Station, take the trail that starts on the road to the left of the cafe and head up to the trail head marker - Tunnel Creek Trail!. The Parks are now asking $1 to hike the trail. Walk along a path with incredible views and at the fork head down, cross the hwy and over the guard rail you will see the trail to your right leading to the beach. After enjoying the beach, you can take the trail along the highway, just inside the guard rail, until you do have to walk the last 1/4 mile back to Tunnel Creek Station.
