One of the longest standing restaurants in Sintra. Not fancy but authentic Portuguese food, not to be missed. Very old school, not much ambience but the food more than makes up for it. Very traditional, all sauces made from scratch, good quality products, large portions and good value. The gentleman waiter has been working there for over 20 years and is very nice and unassuming. The owner himself works in the kitchen and is uncompromising in his culinary standards.

What can I say? It's right next door and sometimes you get sick of Portuguese food. They are very nice people, have decent Indian food as well as pizzas and pastas. They have indoor and outdoor dining but the best is to get it to go and enjoy it in the garden. They will even pass it to you through their back window if you request!
