This is our favourite local place to eat in Morzine. It's popular with locals, and is influenced by French south west cusine. It's reasonably priced and caters well to our requests for a gluten free meal. Good food and good service. Popular so you'll need to book. A main will cost around 15-25 E.

Sightseeing
The local area has several easy walks along the river and through the woods. You can do a circular walk from the chalet to the Cistercian monastery ruins across the valley in an hour, very pretty. There are maps, booklets and brochures in the chalet to give you ideas and help with planning.

Drive down the mountain in about 40 minutes to find Yvoire which is a charming medieval small town right on lake Geneva.
Cutesly shops, nice places to eat and you can even swim in the lake in sheltered and tranquil spots there.
