Ok so this place is definitely worth a visit, just for the view of our lovely Duxbury Harbor. There is a food truck with tacos and dogs up on the entry level and you park and walk down to the waterfront truck to get oysters, drinks and other yummies. This is Duxbury Harbor eccelctic. There are multiple buildings all being used to harvest oysters so call ahead and book a tour of the "farm"

OMG what a beach. Gorgeous endless piece of our National Seashore! It is a 60-90 minute drive from my house (choose the time you leave and return wisely around tourist traffic-go mid week maybe). They have a wonderful parking area and you jump in a nice shuttle to the beach with friendly park ranger-drivers (free for active duty military, discounts for others). Full services with clean bathrooms and showers. This is also a great place to bike so you can park and bike on the paths to the beach. They had some renovation going on at the Coast guard building in 2022 but I think it's done, it did not impact the beach experience. Try to go at low tide, as there are shallow pools of water washing in and out. Note: White sharks feed on seals and their babies at this beach so you will see seals for sure, especially at mid tide; heed lifeguard warnings about sharks in shallow water. You are not on their menu, but people have been injured/bitten if they swim too close to seals.
