Hands down the best restaurant in Everett. Jimmie is an imaginative and perfectionistic chef whose dishes lean towards Italian...using only the freshest ingredients.

Wonderful artwork in their ever-changing exhibits with a great gift shop, too. They're known for their glass blowing classes and the shop has lots of glass showing off it's studio.

Beautiful little arboretum that you can walk to from our house. It's a good walk and once there, you will be surrounded with beauty in greenery and sculpture, peaceful and lovely for a morning walk.

As one thoughtful guest wrote: We recommend a brisk walk down Rucker, turn left at the corner, walk one more block and you’re at beautiful Puget Sound. If you want to add to the walk, go down, down, down the ramps and steps and walk along the marina to the end. There’s a lovely pier where you can sit and watch the boats. Turn around and walk back up, up, up (75 steps, I counted…many times). Before you know it, you’ve walked over 2 miles! End your walk by relaxing on a nice, cool front porch and enjoy in some lovely conversation with your hosts! I'd like to add that you often see the seals playing AND there's a good opportunity for restaurants on the water :)

Neighborhoods

If you turn right out of the front door and walk down to 22nd to the end, west, there's a wonderful little community garden. It blew me away with the health and variety of all things green and flowered. There are a couple of serious lifetime gardeners.
