Warm neighborhood spot. Pam (who the cafe is named after) is often behind the counter preparing amazing sandwiches and chatting up guests. Never had a bad sandwich here. Highly recommend the lunch menu as it changes to a sit-down restaurant for dinner. The walls are lined with local art for sale.

This is a historic brewery turned family friendly must-see spot! There is a farmer's market that sets up every Saturday and Sunday morning but I suggest getting their the earlier the better to avoid crowds. The Bottling Department is a brand new food hall serving gourmet burgers to authentic ramen. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose from. Be sure to step into Hotel Emma and get a seat at Sternewirth, their stunning bar. Plus, it sits right at the Riverwalk and is walking distance from other Downtown spots!

Parking gets a bit tight so don't be afraid to park in residential areas and walk, it is a safe neighborhood and there is plenty of foot traffic during this monthly event. Vendors open up their homes or set up on the street and sell everything from comic books, to homemade jewelry, and plenty of San Antonio specific (but non-touristy) apparel.
