Like many old cities, Launceston has a beautiful old park and botanical garden with many wonderful tree and plant species to be seen as you take a leisurely stroll. The park also has a monkey enclosure, great for the kids.

Zip lining through the treetops is just as exciting as it sounds. Risky? Yes, but this is so well managed that you get all of the fun and none of the danger. The forest is also a fabulous place for a ramble or a bike ride.
