Rompeolas means "wave breaker" in Spanish. Enjoy snorkeling, diving, walking, jogging nature viewing and a beach. This is the old Navy pier. It is a 1 mile land mass that has a huge concrete pier at the end. The ocean floor drops to 80 feet there and sea turtles and deep ocean life can be seen. Beautiful sunsets.
