This is just a 20 second walk from my house and is a rather hip and affluent Cafe/Bar/Restaurant. They serve brilliant Pizzas, especially the Capers and Anchovy Pizza!!! They also have a fabulous range of local beers and ales.

This is fantastic little gin bar which is underground in a cellar. They serve huge amount of gins and they also serve tapas. A must go to place during the night time!!! I would recommend booking a taxi from my house and ask to go here. Should cost no more than £6.

York Minster is one of York's truly incredible feats of engineering. A combined ticket which includes the Minster and the tower is what I would recommend. This costs £15 but is well worth it!

Just a couple of minutes walk from my house is Rowntree Park. A quaint little park with a couple of Lakes and a nice little "Reading Cafe" serving fresh Coffees, Teas and a selection of books.

This centre has all of the major high street stores (Hugo Boss, Hackett, Levis, Polo Ralph Lauren, Ben Sherman, Calvin Clein, Crew Clothing and loads more! But the prices are so much cheaper than you would see on the high street.
If you don't have a car with you, you can get take the MAX 415 bus from just outside the fire station on Clifford Street (About a 5-7 minute walk) and then the bus journey will take around 25 minutes. The buses run every 20 minutes.
