Food Scene

hip but cosy, laid back coffee house, run by a young luxembourgish couple who make excellent coffee, tea, sandwiches and fabulous cakes as well as soup and savoury bowl and are very inventive when it comes to drinks creations or brunch ideas. Occasionally gluten free treats available. Perfect for breakfast (Attention on Sundays: THey're only open every 1st Sunday of the month for brunch in which case they're closed the Saturday before) during the week or Saturday and once a month for brunch on Sunday, or for lunch. Don't miss the Banana-Bread or the Matcha-Latte.

One of the best Burger menus in Luxembourg, but be open for their dish of the day, very good beer selection, nice to watch football matches, but also for a romantic evening or a group meal on the terrace. They show football matches and sometimes host (board) game nights in the back room.

One of the best Italian restaurants/Wine bars in town, the team are all decendants of the traditional go-to Italian restaurant 'Dal Notaro' in Clausen. The menu depends on the cath (or rather the 'buy') of he day and is swiftly scirbbled on a piece of paper that migrates form table to table, every day they create around 10 dishes (these can include surprises like sea food, or game) that usually don't disappoint, just like the dessert. Excellent and exquisite in particular is the selection of Italian wines. Good for Dinner, but also Lunch and festivities, closed in the weekend (then you can find the staff working at Dal Notaro). Sometimes concerts etc.

One of the very few restaurants in Limpertsberg or even Luxembourg where you can order porper food until 11.15 pm (Pizza until 11pm), friendly service, nice atmosphere and good Italian food! For Luxembourg not expensive.
