Located about 30 minutes South of the resort area, resting on the boulders and taking in the scenery to the North is a sight to behold. You will be so high the hawks will be soaring beneath you - quite a sight! Small pull off area on the right of RT 219 and trailhead on your left. Hike is pretty steep in areas but not terribly long. When you have conquered this mountaintop, signed the register found in the mailbox at the top, and safely descended, continue South on RT 219 for another 15 minutes and you will find yourself in the fun, small town of Thomas, WV. Grab grub at the Purple Fiddle on Main Street!
