The Belle of Louisville is the oldest operating Mississippi River style steamboat in the world. She and her sister vessel, the Mary M. Miller riverboat offer river cruises perfect for all ages. We offer cruises nearly year-round, and have special events throughout the season. The Mary M. Miller replaced the Spirit of Jefferson in July of 2017. She is named after the First Female Steamboat Captain. The Mary M Miller is not a steamboat but she does have a paddlewheel. She is climate controlled and has 2 indoor decks and a top deck under cover but open air.

We really enjoyed touring the Wild Turkey Distillery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was very interesting to learn about the distilling process and the tour is well worth the money. One thing that was surprising to me was the amazing aroma of the barrels of bourbon in the warehouse. Wow! The gift shop was very nice with a good selection of tasteful items. The staff were pleasant, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend making Wild Turkey a stop if you're doing the Bourbon Trail or if you're in Lawrenceburg KY area.

Four Roses Distillery is a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend an afternoon. The history, the tours, the whiskey, and everything else in this Distillery is phenomenal. The whiskey tour is very informative and the whiskey tasting are very tasty. The Four Roses chocolate box really has a nice kick to them. There is also a very relaxing swing outside the main building, which is perfect for taking a picture. In addition, the tasting takes place outside which was very enjoyable. Note that the tasting is $5 per person, however, the cup where you will be tasting out off will be given as a souvenir that cost $4.95 in the store. So technically the tasting is $.05.

The drive past the horse farms into the distillery is your first clue that something substantial awaits. When we first entered the visitors center I thought we had mistakenly walked into a golf resort clubhouse. Woodford Reserve sets the tone early that bourbon is a big time corporate business and that the brand is about the lifestyle as much as it is about the bourbon. The tour unfolds like a well oiled machine - buses appear on cue and every movement we made was obviously well scripted. Even the parking lot attendants point you to the first available open space. There's a ton of history here although you'll hear far more about the present than the past. The tour guides are well versed,
