City advice
Getting around
The Gold Coast bus service travels south and north.
There are regular services to Coolangatta and north to Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise and Southport. The light rail project will prvide more options in the future.
There are also bus services to Robina and Varsity Lakes. The Brisbane train can be boarded at Varsity Lakes.
Further north at Broadbeach, you can catch the tram. Eventually, there will be a tram station at Burleigh Heads. If you travel by tram, you can tap on and off using your mastercard or amex card.
