Archibald's is easily my favorite BBQ in Tuscaloosa, it's just unbeatable. This place may not look like much, but it's the original location, and it's got it where it counts.

An iconic Tuscaloosa place, also appropriately known as Nick's in the Sticks. Paul Bear Bryant apparently used to go here all the time. It may look run down, but it makes it up in flavor!

Wonderful place for a cookout or a swim. There are grills and a pavilion near the parking area. The coolest thing about this lake, though, are the cliffs.

Just a few seconds down the road, this the park here is quite nice. A path goes a few miles down the river, through trees and along high banks. It's known as the Riverwalk, great for walking/running.

If you're just walking around campus, be sure to stop by here. I think it's my favorite place on campus. The buildings surrounding the quad and the sculpture garden inside make it quite relaxing.
