One of the largest (and few) parks of Paris. It's pretty and has lots of places on the grass with view where you can have a picnic or read a book under one of the large trees. You can also just go for a walk / run.

Large park by the canal. As opposed to "butes chaumont" it's flat and has less trees. Yet, there is also a lot of grass to sit on and the canal nearby is enjoyable.

The museum is a must see but if you don't have time to visit the inside, you should still come by what used to be the royal castle of French kings and the gardens around it !

Best "fast food" in the area. Ahmad the chef is very welcoming, everything is home made and you can taste the difference ! You can say hi to him from me ! ;-) If you are in a rush, you can call him so he prepares your falafel sandwich and you just come to pick them up. Everything is good but falafel and french fries stand out !

The large boulevard Richard Lenoir that your windows provide a wide view over is actually hosting an underground canal. Just follow it going on the left side and you will discover the canal. It's great to walk along and many parisians enjoy sitting on it's side. Definitely a must see when you are at home.

City advice

Getting around

Getting around

Most of your destinations are walking distance

Paris is a small city and you are in the center so most of your destinations are at a walkable distance !
Getting around

Use the citybikes (Velib) - station next door

Biking around the city is a great way to discover. Paris is small and mostly flat so biking is easy. Also, they also have electric bikes. Download the Velib app in order to have access to the drop off stations and also the spots available. Bikes have a rating so you know which ones to use. Finally, make sure that you don't keep the bikes for too long because that could end up being expensive.
