To me one of the most beautiful, unspoilt places I have ever been to! Waste water is home to the well known sca-fell. You can also hike all the way around the lake and its screes which is a total of approx. 8 miles. At the end of the lake is the lovely warm pub, wasdale head inn, which sells great home cooked food.
