The 2 S Broadway building has been around since 1904. It was originally a grocery store. It also has been a soda fountain, pharmacy, dance studio amd more. It has stretched from Broadway to the alley. The building has been home to bookstores for at least the last 30 years; Mutiny Now, Ichabod's Books & Mrs. Crain's Coffee, and others. Take a break from the day and sit in our window, watch people, have a coffee, play a game of pinball, or chill on the couch, relax. Excerpt from: http://mutinyinfocafe.com/

This is the best second hand store in Denver in our humble opinion. Of course everything depends on the day you show up but you can usually find something you can't live without.

The menu is delicious and healthy in that order. The walls are all windows and if you want to hit up Cherry Creek there is no better place to start the excursion with a ridiculously tasty meal. True Food is also surprisingly affordable for the neighborhood.

Access to the path is just 3 Blocks North on Broadway at Speer Boulevard. The Cherry Creek Trail is a 42-mile long paved pathway that travels from Downtown Denver, past Cherry Creek Reservoir, through Parker and ends at Franktown to the east of Castle Rock. The trail is located in the natural greenbelt alongside Cherry Creek as it meanders through the heart of the urban downtown area, goes through historic neighborhoods in the middle of Denver, goes past the suburban residential and commercial areas and eventually winds through high prairie grasslands and cottonwood groves. Drinks & Nightlife

Since 1943 the historic Skylark Lounge has endured as a mainstay of Denver's Broadway corridor and only improves with age. Now in its new, more spacious location, the Skylark features live music and dancing on the main floor while the second floor houses the Pair O' Dice Poolroom, a Billiards Digest choice as one of America's top three new poolrooms when it opened in 2006. For more than forty years, Marilyn Megenity has hosted the town’s most eclectic party at the Mercury Cafe, her club/cafe/community gathering place. Today it’s an institution known as much for its enlightening entertainment options — plays, poetry slams, tango parties — as it is for its healthy hippie fare. Whether vegan or carnivore, libertarian or commie, everyone feels at home at the Merc. A restaurant, dance club, music venue and speakeasy, the Mercury Cafe is in an orbit all its own, hosting everything from lindy-hop lessons to poetry readings, high teas to Green Party meetings. Rock-and-roll shows were axed years ago, but classical,JAZZ Westword http://mercurycafe.com/
