This fairly new museum is well worth visiting to have an overview of the Mayan civilization. Not as big and complete as the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya, but a very good option if you do not plan to visit Merida. An inexpensive day trip if you use the bus to Cancun. Take a look at Cancun´s stunning beach, and visit Plaza La Isla afterwards.......
