If you want the best sunset meal and drink you can imagine this is the place for it, my favorite past time is sitting at the Duke in the evening looking out over the water with the sun setting and live acoustic music playing, then catching the ferry back to Paihia for a lovely stroll along the beach.

It's just freaking beautiful and you will love it, it's about a three hour hike from home all the way back to home again or the trail is about an hour walk from the falls to Waitangi.
