This hike is a 1 hour drive from here and if you are headed to Tahoe it is about 2/3 of the way there. You can actually see the falls from the parking lot but if you would like to turn it into a hike it is 1.5 miles to the base of the falls and 2 miles to the top where there are 5 beautiful lakes. At the top is AMAZING! Facebook friends will be jealous of your photos.

Great little place to go for a hike and a swim, also fun to watch rock climbers and slack-line acrobatics on the weekend. Be careful in early summer there is at least one drowning per year in this location always younger people and out of towners.
