Food Scene

The absolute best coffee in Long Beach. If you are feeling like something different than chain coffee shops, you must check this place out! They roast their own coffee, and it is banging good. The atmosphere is hip/chill/friendly.

Great food, and fun place for hanging out and grabbing drinks. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace. Fish tacos are definitely my favorite!

Fabulous location with ocean views. The food is amazing, and the selection of delicious bloody marys is even more amazing! If you have a chance to check out the museum, I highly recommend doing so as well.

This is without a doubt my go to spot in Long Beach for coffee and tasty croissant sandwiches. It feels like a little paradise inside a coffee shop. The little patio area makes me feel like I'm in a forest. Greenery, knick knacks, flowers, art..so beautiful. The Birdcage is VERY laid back, and I've never seen it very crowded. The servers and owners are really nice!

The ambience in this place is simply GREAT. This is a must visit spot in Long Beach. I love the architectural detail - The location is an old bank that was converted to a bar and restaurant, with a speakeasy and club as well.

Hamburgers by day, drag shows and dance club by night. Hamburger Mary's always makes for a FUN time, especially the FAB shows put on for Sunday brunch (the brunch itself is just OK, but the drag queens put on an amazing show!

Sightseeing

A retired ocean liner built in Scotland! She was permanently moored in Long Beach in 1967. You can check out the cabins, walk along the decks... it is a must see landmark. The Sunday champaign brunch is a buffet style meal in the ship (I would highly recommend making a reservation).

Parks & Nature

Located in ShoreLine Aquatic park, near the aquarium. I love taking a relaxing stroll the the tip of the park where the light house is to enjoy beautiful views and feel at peace.
