Food Scene

Amazing seafood! It is as good as anything I've had in Ensenada, a Mexican Port town. There are too many different margaritas to list all of them.

A really decent pizza and they deliver! Also sandwiches and salads. This place has been around for over 40 years and it has remained one of my favorites since high school.

Arts & Culture

This is the iconic mission in the "mission row". It is restored and still active and in use as a church, but open to the public for free. The history of this mission and Father Kino's building of it are available as a video on the grounds as well as through dioramas and artifacts. After touring San Xavier, take a drive south to the Toumacacori Mission-an unrestored mission of the same erra. This one is in the national park and will cost about $10.00

I love going here several times a year because it always changes. If you're an art or history buff, this will enchant you!

Fourth Ave is THE spot for small, local shops for just about everything out of the ordinary and home to the Fall and Spring Street Fairs that host hundreds of vendors. One of my favorites for Xmas shopping!

This little gem is tucked away off broadway and park and is host to one of the best mexican import stores in town. Also antiquities and furniture. It does change on occasion, so you're never quite sure what will be down there!

The categories don't do this place justice! Live music 7 nights a week. It starts early and ends early, too. The blues band I heard there last time I went was FANTASTIC.! The outdoor restaurant serves decent food at reasonable prices and some of the old motel rooms are now little shops that stay open late
