This place is wonderful and well hidden, new Nordic kitchen with honest and fun people at the stove. Only one toilet and you have to cross the street to get to it, but that is Kødbyen for you.

You will not believe it in this un-charming and noisy street but this is the best cake shop in Copenhagen! Open for coffee (and cake mind you) from 10-17. but mostly for take-away. Expensive but so wonderful.

You hear French a lot here, Lycee Francais of CPH is situated in this street. Try Granola for their fab interiour and style, the owner also has "the worlds smallest café" in the neighbouring street Tullinsgade. In Tullinsgade you will also find Thiemers book store.
