Food Scene

The cook worked for a 2-star Michelin restaurant and only serves streetfood. There are only two options: Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian because "my food is awesome" (words of the chef himself). He's right.

Very handy, lovely to sit outside, cheap. I recommend it for a quick breakfast before going on a tour.

Swabian cuisine. Not the chepest, but very original. They only serve hand-made "Maultaschen" (filled dumplings). Very, very tasty food, ideal for a dinner with some beer.

One of my favorite beergardens in Berlin. Best on warm spring/summer nights. Located adjunct to Gleisdreieckpark. Food is ok (heavy american cuisine), but the beers are lovely and the atmosphere is amazing.

My favourite lunch place. Cheap, healthy, always friendly (can be very busy though). Ideal business lunch, but also very nice to sit outside in the evening.

Parks & Nature

The northern part of the park is about 3 min from my flat (go left at the entrance, turn right at Lützowstr. and continue for 2 min). One of Berlins newest parks, very lively and full of things to do. Whether it is basketball, beachvolleyball, skating, picnics or romantic sunsets (with a touch of vintage/industrial romance) here you it all.
