A lovely area with forests, hills, beaches, and wildlife. A Morgan horse ranch rents riding horses and tours to a nearby beach. Geologically interesting area because San Andreas earthquake fault runs through Tomales Bay and the park.

Beautiful Redwood trees and hiking trails. Weekend days are quite crowded. There are signs on US-101 that may tell you when the parking lot is full. You may take the shuttle bus from the bus parking lot.
