We're happy you chose to stay with us! But, go up to the Grove Park Inn for spectacular views and a giant, warm fire place. Grab an evening drink at the bar or a cup of morning coffee. Make sure you find the secret elevator behind the fireplace. The operator will often offer to take you up in it if you seem interested. Lots of history in this building. If you're there around Christmas, there's a national ginger bread house competition on display.

Close to our house and Biltmore. They have really great food and are never that crowded. The prices can seem steep but the portions are generous and the quality is excellent! They also have a wine bar where you can get quick appetizers.
