Dufferin Mall is a rarity here in Toronto. Not only is it a shopping mall not found in the suburbs, it doesn't suck like most other malls in the city. It features a grocery store and Wal-Mart, both of which will provide you with just about all the basics you'll need while staying here. It also has a wealth of different shops: clothing, electronics, jewelry, self-care, tchotchkes, and more. The food court provides many different food options as well.

Parks & Nature

Right around the corner from the space you'll find a large public park. It features a playground for kids, a basketball court, skateboard park, skating rink (in the winter), soccer fields, picnic areas, and more. This is also the only park in the city where you can have an open fire in the evenings - rent a fire pit and enjoy the sounds of the city.

Drinks & Nightlife

Laylow prides itself on being "Toronto's smallest brewery". They create their own craft beer and cook some delicious food as well. Good for a relaxing evening where you want to, ahem, lay low. They have a brunch menu on weekends.

An old jukebox spins a curated set of 7" vinyl, the music punctuated by the clicks and dings of a vintage pinball machine that somehow still works. Rare imported Japanese whisky is on tap along with some choice craft brews from the area. If you like rock 'n' roll, this is the place to be.

A great laid back spot to relax with a group. It's better in the summer because of their amazing patio, but you'll enjoy it in the winter as well.
